Body mounts

Hi all, for the last few weeks I have been hearing a strange rattle From the front of the truck I was worried there was an issue with the front end. After determining everything was tight and working fine I discovered the body mounts are done, on the drivers side the rubber bushing is almost gone and is causing the rattle I have been hearing. My question is this, is this a job that can be done in the drive way by someone with some knowledge and skill but by no means a mechanic, can the cab be lifted with jacks, does the job require any special tools. I would rather not take it to a shop because that gets pricey fast, but I assume driving around with it like this can't be good especially with all the off road driving I do in the summer with the camper and boat.

I will find out tomorrow at the shop the description in my manual is too simple... will post back.
