My 93 was getting hard to start, I checked the glow plugs 3 were bad. One came out ok but the other two, one in each head, didnt. They unscrewed ok but the electode is still in the head. I used pliers and vicegrips but no luck. Dose anyone know how to get them out??

I see that you're a NEWBIE here. IF/when you get those GPs out of there, USE ONLY Motorcraft Glow Plugs. I don't know if Autozone is still selling them but you can get them a the Ford Stealership . Autolites will only last one or two weeks and do the 'curl-up-inside-the-head' thing and you'll have even more problems than you've got now. NEVER PUT AUTOLITE GLOW PLUGS IN THESE ENGINES. Have I been clear enough? Baja
Well I can't get to my story and tool explaination in the Freekin archives so.......
Not knowing what is stopping the GP whether it is the GP tip or just carbon (which I now doubt since vicegrips were used). In conjunction with Ziggsters info, I can only suggest when the cylinder is at TDC on the affected cylinder/GP that you consider trying to work the GP out by rotation with a portable drill at medium speed and gentle pulling while trying to wear the blockage away. If the injector is removed then the vacuum trick can pick up the pieces ground off.
EDIT.....
Just uploaded a pic of the tool I made and used for GP removal, as you can see the GP was just slightly swelled but took several years of my life as I too had never run into a problem before. By the way that was a Chumpion GP and it took 4 of it's brothers with it when it left my engine.........Beru Beru Beru forever now.
