boost ajustment?

Ok, I'm getting 9lb-10lb max on my boost gage.I have read that there are 2 dimples that need to be drilled to ajust the rod. I am confused because I can not find anything like that on mine. The eyelet end that attatches to the wastgate is the end that is ajusted, right? I have a lock nut against the eyelet end but no dimples.

Re: boost ajustment?

The dimples are there to keep the length of the rod from being adjusted. Maybe yours isn't dimpled? I'd say take the rod loose of the wastegate and see if it spins. I think that the shorter it is the more boost it will make. Or maybe that's backwards.

[/ QUOTE ] That's not backwards. Your thinking is sound.
