I've had the lower radiator hose blow off twice now, & the radiator shop guys checked it out this time & couldn't find anthing wrong with the system. He suggested I check the motor mounts because maybe the engine was torqueing over & pulling the hose off.
So.. is there an eay way to check se if they're broke??
Thanks, jerry

yeah, If you have noticed a jump like something is falling down on your truck. Or put it in drive holding the brakes or the clutch and watch the engine. ( becareful doing this) If the engine loooks like it is going to flip over in the dog house or better yet get under the rig and observe the engine mounts and if not sure just lift the engine with a jack to see if it seperates from the mount.

Planned upgrades are a new and better turbo and larger exhaust pipes than the 21/2s that are already under the rig/ would like a 6 spd tranny but dont know if that is a feasable or smart investment yet.

Thanks David, I haven't been driving it much since the hose blew off. (my wife has been in the hospital since early January) so I haven't had much of a chance to check it out during the daylight. Just found broken upper motor mount on 2001 Neon wind up car, guess I'll have to check lower mount next, on that car. Then check my F350 soon.
