BUDD HUBS / SPACERS

I had a fellow contact me today about budd hubs on his dana 60 front end . He had purchased a spindle and rotor off of a dana 50 , and he as well as I were under the impression that the bud spacer either bolted onto the rotor or slid over the wheel studs . What he found was that the spacer , according to him , was made onto the wheel hub and he now is unable to use the set up that he just bought . My question to all you guys out there with budd front wheels is can this be true ? I'm not saying that this is impossible , only that I've never seen this type of perminent spacer set up . I do believe that the truck in question is a 90 or 92 F350 factory 4X4 .The dana 60 that I installed in my truck had the removable spacers because the friend that I sold them to slid them onto his dana 50 rotor/hub assembly and is using them today . Hopefully some one way smarter than me can set me straight on this issue .

Re: BUDD HUBS / SPACERS

All you have to do is remove the D50 hub which is the same as a dana 60 and install the dually hub. when I bought the dana 60 for my truck it came with dually hubs. I pulled the hubs and bought single wheel front hubs for my truck. They ended up coming off of a 3/4 ton with the dana 50.

Good luck
