Re: cananda?

Go by VIN... if it starts with 2, it's Canadian, 1 is USA, 3 is Mexico.

Don't feel bad if it's a 2, my '87 Mercury was made in Canada, 22 years, and 322,000 miles later, she's still going strong!

Re: cananda?

I had a 351 Windsor (Ontario) a great long lasting and efficient engine. Nothing wrong with Canada's products.

Re: cananda?

My 87 was made in the Oakville Canada plant near where I come from. And of course that plant was mothballed a few years ago by Ford, courtesy of NAFTA.

Re: cananda?

Ford (and all manufacturers) source parts from everywhere. It's all done by low bid.
