Re: coolant filter

Picture 1 I got the filter head and precharged filter from the local International dealer. The filter head was a little pricey, but was just glad to find one at the time. There are cheaper filter head outthere, but here is one of two international parts that I've seen. It cost me about $25. I can get the part number if you like, but I can't find it at the moment.
Picture 2 Here is the whole deal mounted on the truck. Sorry, that's the only picture I have of the filter.

A cheaper system than mine (live and learn) and good write up of the process http://www.[censored].net/articles/coolfilter1.html

Re: coolant filter

Sorry, I just remembered, thedieselstop won't let us link to the very helpful and complete articles written by the very members (or former members) of this site. So the link above will not work. Sorry. Send me a PM and I'll send you the link.
