Well I found a nice Bosch "P" Series inline IP for my project IDI, the question is if anyone has installed said pump on an IDI before?
Going to give it to Ken so he can work his magic on it, but when I get it back I got to figure out how its gonna be made to fit.
No one that I know of has did it, simply because a standard rotary IP can be built enough to provide enough fuel to the engine. Most guys just get a DPS Ip and run with that. Trust me, once Ken gives the IP a once over, they will provide plenty of fuel. Scotty
You're right Ken can sure build them nicely, BUT I remember reading somewhere that Ken said that this pump would be ideal for an "extreme" setup. Coming from him, that speaks volumes! Again this is a project motor, so I'm up for a challenge.
Little bit of fab work required, but the 8 cylinder inline pump is ideal for max fuel volume if you want to go insane
When you get it togehter, let us know, that should be one bad set up. Better get some studs for your engine while you are in there. Probably going to need them with that much fuel.. That kill plenty of mosquitoes within a 3 mile radius.. Good luck. Scotty
