Re: Delphi injectors

I just bought the Delphi BBs from Pensacola Fuel Injection. No problems, truck runs fine, and they were all satisfactory on the pop tester before I installed them.

Re: Delphi injectors

Thanks for the info. I bought some rebuilt ones out of Tennessee and they were trash! So I don't want to make that mistake again

Re: Delphi injectors

If you get new ones from most any company they will work fine. But be very careful on rebuilt ones. Quality control is not good on a lot of the rebuilt ones. I wanted to use rebuilt ones on one of our farm tractors last spring. My supplier told me the last set he got for a guy he send back five times because when he bench tested them they were mostly junk. He said he won't sell rebuilt ones any more, have heard this from other suppliers and mechanics. The guy finally got new ones. These were injectors that were costing around $100.00 apiece, so cheaper injectors will have even more corners cut.

Re: Delphi injectors

I used delphi's on my build and they will change pop pressure in about 10k miles, good rebuilt ones hold better because the used springs have taken their "set".
I had a set rebuilt with new tips before I found a good deal on new, they were done by the shop that did my pump and they were a little more than new but I know what i have. And there are stanadyne bodies.
My delphi's changed about 50 to 80 lbs. My supplier reset them for free so no worries.

Re: Delphi injectors

I have a Amish friend that said he would rebuild them with new parts and if I had any problems with them that I would not owe him anything. So I guess I cant lose ( I trust him)
