As far as I know the f-250 only used one size. The f-350 used one size for dual wheels, and another for single wheels. If your truck has an owners manual it might have the size in it.
Don't know about the latest model pickups, but for decades a rear drum had to be pulled to measure the WIDTH of the shoes so parts houses and Ford dealership parts dept. could I.D. the right shoes. Parts books would show two different sizes possible.
As I recall, the f-350 used different width shoes, depending on if it was dual, or single wheel. The drums are different enough that they won't interchange, but the thinner shoes will mount up to the backing plate. I've done that when I didn't change drums, and got the wrong shoes. I wasn't using it for any heavy loads, and it still stopped just fine without any weight in it. I also live where it is flat, so no mountain roads.
When I bought all new parts for mine I had to take everything back and exchange for F350 parts, nothing listed as F250 fit (pistons/drums/calipers etc.), hopefully return shipping is free or rock auto is better than my local parts house.
Should be a 3" wide. The "light duty" F250 (8-lug wheels, but a frame more like an F150) would take the narrower 2.75" shoes / drums. Might also apply to HD F250s with the smaller gasser engines. But the diesel F250s would take the 3"-ers.
