Diesel Fuel Alternatives

Looking for any info on:

Veggie oil burning
Waste veggie oil burning
biodiesel
used motor oil

I've heard about burning all the above but would like more info on each, like how much of each I can run, either straight or as a blend. Extremely interested in the waste veggie oil and used motor oil due to their cheapness.

Got to find a way to lesson the fuel bill!!!!

Re: Diesel Fuel Alternatives

I know of guys running 80% Canola oil and 20% diesel. But un-used canola isn't that cheap.

Re: Diesel Fuel Alternatives

Yes we ahve an excellent site on all that, you can also look here for more biofuel info SVO&Biodiesel website/Discussion Forum be advised most there will not like to hear of running used motor oil as most of them are intrerested in alternative energy at least in part for ecological/enviropnmental reasons and other stuff we no longer discuss here. But they are friendly and very knowledgeable.
