Seems like a new driveshaft is in order. Most major cities have a company or two that deal in drivetrain components and can make driveshafts.
You can shorten a driveshaft that is in good condition, but lenghtening one isn't really feasible since it is more work than making a new one.
A dual driveshaft is technically possible using the original shaft and a new front shaft section, carrier bearing etc, but I'm not sure if there would be a benefit over a new single shaft....
