Engine Swap
I finally bit the bullet and my crate 7.3L from ford will be here tomorrow morning for $5k.....Not bad considering my rebuild was going to cost more than that. I pulled the tranny and t-case a few weeks ago and yesterday in 10 hours pulled the motor. Today were doing some clean up and prep for the motor to come tomorrow. I'll post pics upon completion. They sure did shoehorn that motor into the compartment....I think ford built the chasis before obtaining specs for the size of that motor....
