I have a 1994 F-350 IDI crew cab pickup. I need to replace my freeze plug heater. I can't seem to find anywhere on-line to purchase the new part. Any suggestions? Also, I ran across some info about freeze plug heaters having a screw adjustment, do all freeze plug heaters have that? Any suggestions or tips for installation?
Virtually any any auto parts store can sell you one. It's located above the starter. Before you yank it out, look for the cord plugged into it and find where the male end is hidden, it's probably all there. Quite often it's just the male end of the plug/cord that's bad and you can either replace the whole cord or just the plug.
