Re: Flat Bed

A friend of mine had a used aluminum one a couple of years ago. He got a $800.00 for that one. A new one was about $1400.00 but steel has gone up so much that you won't buy one for any where close to that now. Used they will range from $300.00 to almost new price depending on if they are made out of wood, steel or aluminum.

Re: Flat Bed

If your good with a welder, and have one, it wont be too costly. I would rather custom make one over buying one though. I think some companies make dump flatbeds but they're in the 1500 dollar range.

all coming from a guy who doesnt even like flatbeds

Hope this helps

Re: Flat Bed

i can tell u the entire frame of it is out of 12 gauge flat sheet steel. they bent it in there press. the front bulkhead and rear tailligh housing are 8 inch C channel. the entire thing sits on 3x3, 1/4 inch thick frame runners. the only thing with it is it wouldnt reach the cab. their press could only bend 8 foot, from edge of frame to cab is 8 foot 8 inches or so. so i have a gap between the bed and cab, but it worked perfect for my stacks.
