I have a 92 7.3 IDI that has a just flex plate on it with a spacer about an inch thick. Don't know wether that was the original since I bought it used. If your's has the spacer, why can't you just use a regular fly wheel and do away with the spacer. There are nine bolt holes and one is used for a dowel pin. Don't have the bolt circle dimension. I will measure up the crank bolt hole circle and post it tomorrow evening sometime.
Edit: Looked on the other forum for a flex plate for you, disregard my suggestion on the fly wheel, was thinking wrong. You do need a flex plate.
