Unhappy Flex plate needed or info to make one even

We are having a terrible time trying to find a flex plate for our 1994 7.3 Turbo diesel. We have been looking for a couple months now. We have been told by Ford that the flex plate for our truck was only used for 6 months. The part is now obsolete by Ford and no after markets are being made either. We have not been able to find a replacement and ours is all but worthless. the teeth are all bad on ours. Does anyone have a flex plate from a 1994 Turbo 7.3 IDI that they are willing to sell???? or know of one??
We are at the point of having one made however this is also a dead end since Ford will not tell us the information we need..such as thickness of plate, number of teeth, spacing of bolt patern etc.. Does anyone have this information so that we can have one made??? We cannot take ours out as once it is out it cannot be put back in.. and this truck is my only way to work which includes travel all over the US..kind of far to walk lol..
Any help would be appreciated greatly!!
Thanks

I have a 92 7.3 IDI that has a just flex plate on it with a spacer about an inch thick. Don't know wether that was the original since I bought it used. If your's has the spacer, why can't you just use a regular fly wheel and do away with the spacer. There are nine bolt holes and one is used for a dowel pin. Don't have the bolt circle dimension. I will measure up the crank bolt hole circle and post it tomorrow evening sometime.

Edit: Looked on the other forum for a flex plate for you, disregard my suggestion on the fly wheel, was thinking wrong. You do need a flex plate.

They're out there. I rebuilt my engine 3 yrs ago and my machinist found my original with a crack in it. He was able to get a new one for me. I'll see if I can get ahold of him to see where he got mine from.
