ford diesels and body lifts--"except diesels"

sorry to post this again but i'm trying to find out if anyone has lifted a ford diesel? particularly one of our old idi's. i getting ready to start putting everything back on my frame but i wanna do a lift but every lift i'm finding is "except for diesel". it seems they list them the same way for the powerstrokes too. am i going to have steering wheel linkage problems? like i said in my last post all i can see is that i will have to mod the radiator and drop it a little bit so it is inline with the engine.

anybody know????

i believe it is because when you seperate the body from the frame, the fan looses air in the gap, and causes cooling problems with the motor. and i believe the rad shroud has to be atlered also causing the fan to not blow on the rad properly, also causing cooling issues, just some of the reasons i have been told in the past.

My theory is that they have to test for each type of engine, and it is cheaper to put "except diesels" on the box than to test twice as many trucks.
