ford f 350 help - Diesel Forum

Ok i have a 1993 ford f-350 460 auto 4 door 4x4. And i have a 1992 ford f-250 7.3 idi auto super cab 4x4. I would like to swap the 460 out of the 93 and put in the 7.3. What is involed with this swap and what all needs to be done. Has anyone here done this? It sure would be great to get some feed back on this. And the reason for this is the 93 is in great shape but bad moter plus its a four door.Thanks

First would be the complete main harness wiring exchange may be required......

Keep the IDI and that trans together..........

Others will have more info....... those that have done it will have a lot to say.
