ive been getting a very loud roar out of my front pass side axel...about a week ago i pulled a semi that was stuck in a ditch i yanked on him a few good times and then up tha street workin my truck really hard smoking all 4 tires a few feet in some spots....and then later that night a gurl was driving my truck and hit a chug hole that was really a bad hole ...and at this point i had never drivin the truck down the highway intill bout 2 days later on the way to work when i got up to speed i heard the roaring so either the semi or the hole killed my axel bearing im just wondering if these front ends are set up like the old gm 10 bolts....thats what we use on our races trucks...and also the dana44's from what i know this truck has a dana50 im just wondering if it the basic same tear down of getting the axel out...and what if any tips you guys have thanks alot

ok thanks for the info thats exactly what i was needing to see its a basic tear down of what we run on our race trucks just we have straight axles shouldnt be any problems

ok having some problems with parts...4wd front pass side axel wheele bearing no auto parts stores gave me the right bearing...finally oreillys auto parts had one had to order it....it worked.....that bearing has a seal behind it..now no one kan get me a seal...they say they have to special order and and they dont even think they can order it....i ordered it tonight but they said its going to be up to 2 weeks......has anyone had this problem.....im almost positive this is a dana or spicer 50....this seal has a s-1531 on it.......its crazy figured i would share my problems

got it all put together and its fine.....but i had a left over snap ring...and wen the lock out is on free and going down the road it makes like a clicking noise .....and it stops when you lock the hubs in....it seems to be work fine..i know where the snap ring goes but when i have it on the lock out wont unlock any ideas what i got messed up

That is in the auto hub correct.......... I will email you the hub manual.
