Can anyone tell me what year bumper with the added holes will fit my 1990. I would like to add the one with the two holes to get more air to the bottom of the RAD. My other thoughts is to cut the holes or add a scoop under the bumper. any thoughts?
Thanks all and have a Happy New Year

I think all turbo IDIs have the bumper with the holes as well as the Powerstrokes. They should be a direct bolt on. If not I'm sure its not hard to modify the brackets, some people have done it.
I did on mine

I have a '95 or '97 front bumper on my '92. It was a direct swap/bolton. I did the change for much the same reason--more air and better cooling. Those holes line up with the bottom of the radiator, right about where the cooling unit for the autotrans is.

Gandalf is my truck. Gandalf is named after Gandalf in "The Lord of the Rings". He is the Wizard with mystical powers.
yea the 90 front bumper is much flater and more squared off then the 92 and up bumper it might still fit but might look funny if it does fit as the newer bumper is curved
I used a plasma cutter to cut the pattern out like the newer bumpers and got the vent bezel from ford and popped it in. This was easier than trying to make something else fit. I think I paid about $20 for it.
That is what I was going to suggest. Why not just blow a few holes in your existing bumper?
Sounds good to me
