Front end sagging like an old women!

Has anyone fixed the sagging front end on the D50. I was thinking of getting some leaf springs and add one to each side has anyone tried this or have any other sugestions.

Any 4x4 shop will be able to order you an add-a-leaf kit for the front end. The leaf will sag eventually, but it should buy you a few years.

The D50 springs do have a negative arch, check your spring bushings first. They will flatten or wear and lower the spring about 1/2 inch. I had my springs rearched at a spring shop back to specs. If you want new ones they went to 3 leafs in late 94-95 check for the TSB.

Re: Front end sagging like an old women!

i have a 4inch lift on my truck i kinda want to get rid of it and get a 6inch lift i could sell you the front leafs , axle brackets and u bolts all you would need is shocks. the leafs are about 2 months old and to me they improved the ride big time compared to my old saggy leafs.

Re: Front end sagging like an old women!

Hi shorthair,
Did the ride improve with the airbags?

Would you mind telling me how much they cost and where you got them?

Thanks,
Pigseye
