been browsing the archives the last couple of days and have been taking notes and bookmarking useful info, but every front sag post i've seen pertains to the 4wd front leaf, i have a 2wd with the open coil. What would be an economical way to remedy the sag? Doing front brakes tomorrow, and will give #s to level front end. Rough guess would be about 2-3 inches.

Hey Ryan,
Thanks for the info on AK in your previous PM.
Regarding your front end sag. Look on ebay or an internet search for a product made by Daystar that lifts the front end an inch or two. There are two ways to install. One is to loosen the pressure on the coil spring and install the spacer bewteen the coil/mounting area. The other method is to actually thread the spacer into the coils. They are reasonably priced. I bought a set for my '91 GMC 2500 but never got around to install them before I sold it.
There's a company called Autospeciality. They are primarily into alignment repair parts and they have coil spring spacers that are full round, made out of aluminum. I raised the front end of my Cherokee with a set. The price was pretty good and they were a quality product. Check with some of the speciality front end shops in the area. Their websight is http://www.autospecialty.com/
Finished the brakes and the front needs to be raised 3.25 inches to be level. Would new springs be the way to go with this much fatigue or the spring spacers that you mentioned. If spacers any recomendations on poly or the aluminum.
Thanks
