To disconnect the wire, simply pull on the single blade-type connector. If you're talking about the electrical connector that is left after disconnecting, then you need to take apart the fuel filter assembly. It slides out through the bottom of the filter assy. You need to remove the filter, then you will see a big nut-type fitting that needs to be unscrewed.
