Fuel heater

My fuel heater is leaking thru top at electrical connection. How does the electrical connection disconnect? I know there is an Oring to replace,but don't want to pry off electrical connection. ?????

The black cap sits.... in the plastic collar so gentle prying up is required..........

To disconnect the wire, simply pull on the single blade-type connector. If you're talking about the electrical connector that is left after disconnecting, then you need to take apart the fuel filter assembly. It slides out through the bottom of the filter assy. You need to remove the filter, then you will see a big nut-type fitting that needs to be unscrewed.

When you have got the big nut out, do not try to pry the heater out from underneath or you will break the heater core, just press/wiggle it out by pressing on the plastic connector.
