Going to order a full set of injectors. Where might be a good reliable place to get them? Want new preferably, unless someone knows about rebuilt ones. Checked Oregon Fuel Injectors web site and they seem to be reasonably priced $28.30 ea. Checked close to home and they want $47.75 ea. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img]

If the price from Oergon is a new and not rebuilt prive then I would buy those. Try and not buy a rebuilt set. They aren't that cheaper than the new type. 89 7.3 crewcab w/ Banks Sidewinder Wastegated Turbo. 4 inch straight piped. BTS E4OD trans with 2 extra gallons of ATF in a Mag Hy-Tec pan. Gear Vendors. Rodney Red custom aluminum radiator. Moose Pump with "G' injectors. Motor rebuilt with new after market ported heads. Mahle low comp pistons milled 12 thousands. Balanced to 1/4 to 1/3 gram. Lined bored. Block decked and sleeved on all 8. Shimed oil pump for higher pressure. Intake and exhaust logs ported too. Hypermax in shop waiting to be installed later....
Sent an email to Oregon requesting an explantion of the codes they advertise for the injectors such as B BB C D I don't know what those codes mean. They say the injectors are new. Only $9.50 UPS shipping.
We use Oregon Fuel Injection at work, have had no problems with them. I use a different shop personally but they are closer to me than OFI. Try to get at least d code injectors. G are for turbo. Have fun

What problems have people had with Diesel Care on Ebay? I just ordered a new set made by Delphi Automotive. What should I do? Should I send them back? I only paid $200 shipped. I am able to test them before I install them.

Got an Email back from Oregon Diesel. Yes they are new and they did not indicate there was a core charge. Guess I will order them. Got my engine back together Sunday, fired it up today, no smoke whatsoever. No water out the exhaust except the normal condensation. Let it run to bring up to temp. Must have been a blown head gasket TG. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/warmsmile.gif[/img] Haven't taken it out for a road test yet will do that tomorrow Tuesday.
