Fuel tank problem

When I switch to my front fuel tank, the needle doesn't move. There's fuel in it, and I don't think it would be the swich on the dash being faulty. Would the first place to check be the tank crossover, or whatever it's called? Maybe the sending unit? Does Autozone carry these? thanks

Re: Fuel tank problem

When you flip the switch you should be able to hear the valve click if it's trying to work. I'd check that first.

Re: Fuel tank problem

When the dash switch is changed from tank to tank there should be aN AUDIBLE zziipp from the FSV (FUEL SELECTOR VALVE) When the valve has completed the change the sender of the new tank connects last..... Check the connector on the FSV for a bad connection or broken wires...... If you want the FSV test PM me an email addy....
