I just received this reply from Prestone.

"Thanks very much for your inquiry. Yes, the Prestone Heavy Duty purple colored coolant is compatible with the green heavy duty(Pre-Charged). We would not anticipate any concerns if you needed to top-off your vehicle with a low-silicate (NOT Pre-Charged) green coolant.

I refilled an old GMC with the purplish-pink Fleet Charge without flushing that well and it was a strange appearance when I got done. If you would look into it you would sort of see both colors at once. They did not combine to form another color if you can understand what I am trying to say. It was strange.
