G-3 fram fuel filter addded no luck

I have just added a G-3 fram small fuel filter inline and it is not even filling up. I have a NAPA electric fuel pump after the fuel tank and I installed this G3 just prior to the housing. I used clear braided fuel line from the fuel pump to the G3 and I would think it would fill the little sucker up. I watched as my boss cranked it up and at first I thought it would fill up. No luck. I see big bubbles coming thru the fuel line to the G3. I took it on the road and it stumblesw as U try to accellerate. Is this indicivative of a bad fuel pump for I would think it in combination with the electric NAPA it should fill up????? Help

IF you have no where for the air to go, then the filter can not fill up.
So create a leak to allow the air to escape, and see if it fills.

Don't think that filter will allow 28gph to the IP.

Pulled the G3 out of service and bled the line from the canister holder. Started right up ran for 5 minutes and stalled. Air is still coming from the pump or somewhere. Will a faulty pump have a leak sopmewhere or should I be looking elswhere?
