Glow plug wiring harness interchange?

Does anyone know if the turbo to non turbo harness will interchange? Or if from e-series to f-series? Unfortunatly mine has over 370K and the white insolators fell apart. Anythoughts? any ideas on where to find a good price on a replacment?

If it's just the plastic fallen off, use some heat shrink and cover the metal.

Re: Glow plug wiring harness interchange?

by the looks of it there is corrosion on the wires to terminal. is there a special terminal end to use ?

I went out to change the glow plugs and as soon as I touched the one under the turbo (figured do the hard ones first) it just fell apart. I stopped right there.
Seems to be a brand new harness online, called ford they say its for a van. But looks like it is the same as the f-series. Local dealer gave a price of over 350.00.

any thoughts on the connector itself?

Re: Glow plug wiring harness interchange?

Visit Shop diesel web page they are expensive now. I know it states to 93 but may be usable on the 94 IDI turbo if you ask them. There were a couple extra wires that were removable once the loom was opened up. Contact your local IH dealer too, I think the one shown was an IH part.
