glow plugs and chilly weather.

Going thru my first full winter (and its a chilly one) as a BOOB man. I've noticed that the ticking of the "glow plug cycle" after the wait to start light goes out seems to be longer and the ticks louder. Is this normal for cold weater or are some of my glow plugs going bad?

Some pre winter maintenance to do is pull the connectors off the g-plugs and clean them out. Yes they get corrosion in them after time. After a good clean out, I apply some fresh Dielectric Grease and squeeze them up a tad. Really makes a difference [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
