Heater Hose question

can anyone else help this guy. I think he is as confused as I am.

Thank goodness you had some idea what he was talking about!... cause my cheap butt would freeze before spending $200 on heater hoses! [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif[/img]

FWIW, I had to do something similar on my AMC 304...seems the bypass circuit is WAY generous and causes some overheating issues... found a nice AL slug (fit snug in the hose, but was too big to be ingested by the pump), drilled a 1/4" hole in it, and slapped it in... running temps decreased by 15*F right off the bat!
