new cdr installed, the old on was full of oil is this normal, lots of smoke comes through the valve again is this normal? when i blow through the new valve its free flowing does it close when there is more vacum? i drove down the street in 2 holding 2500 rpm and lots of blue for about 10 sec and cleared up but when i released the gas pedal it started to smoke again ? havent done the valve seals yet, wondering if it is worth it, any help would be great thanks again

All that oil in the intake won't go away as fast as you change the CDR. It's gonna take some time to finish burning the oil that was previously deposited. How many miles are on the truck? I'm wondering if the rings may be worn. Valve seals aren't that difficult to change, so I would do them. Good luck, Tim
