HElp, I live in the mountains

Hi, I just bought a 1990 7.3 e-350 7.3 ambulance. It has my equipment and a large machine in it. It only has 76K mi on it and runs great except for when I hit even the smallest hill at anything over 60 mph. Can I add a turbo to this and how much is it? Is there something like a high altitude injector system?? Please give some suggestions as to what I can do to make my new baby not a dog.

You NEED a turbo on this thing, at high altitudes you can get all the fuel you want from the injectors and pump you have now but the air is where you're getting stuck, and that's what the turbo will help you big time. Hypermax has a full turbo setup for your E-series, but like any other aftermarket system it's quite costly, so if you're on a limited budget you may wanna look into a used factory turbo from a '93 or '94 7.3 IDI (Powerstroke turbos will not work).
