Re: HELP!! There is a guy that desperatly needs our help.

Actually there doesn't seem to be too many people reading right now, so he may have to wait a while.

Also, after reading your thorough response, I think you are doing just great. It seems like he has some kind of wiring problem, and if you get him to double check the wires after he responds to your last post, I'm betting you'l find that something wasn't hooked up correctly.

Sorry this doesn't help more...

Now if you know anything about rear fuel tanks and their associated hoses...

Re: HELP!! There is a guy that desperatly needs our help.

On my post about leaking fuel tanks there is a pic - but basically there appears to be a hose with a stopper in it above my rear fuel tank, and I've just started leaking fuel out of there.

I'm wondering why there is a hose there, and if I can just clamp it or if there is a real problem here.

Thanks!

David Knapp

Re: HELP!! There is a guy that desperatly needs our help.

The vent on the top is the rollover valve, if you top up the tank to much it can leak.......

Re: HELP!! There is a guy that desperatly needs our help.

I read his post that you forwarded, and at the end of page two it looks like he got the advice that he needed to correct the problem; the wiring at the selenoid was switched to the wrong post.

Sure is nice having all the help and advice that this board and others offer.
