hi-sheer axel nut
Could someone please tell me the correct method for tighting a hi-sheer axel nut, 1990, f-250, 7.3L, I DO have the special wrench, but do not know the procedure for using it. I'm working on the rear end right now...is the procedure the same for the front ?(if it has the same type of nut), I did a search on this forum, but could find nothing, thanks for any info, CD

1990 f-250,4wd,7.3L diesel, dana 44 IFS front end. A friend gave me this truck. I'm doing a "frame up" fix & clean up. My first experiance with a diesel engine,don't know much about them except I had to beef up my engine stand to hold it !!! but I'm learning, thanks to you guy's
