I have a technician that works for me that has hockey pucks for cab mount bushings. He swears it rides fine. I can't tell, 79 Bronco on 6" suspension lift w/38"? tires. I know it does free it up to use regular bolts, nuts, washer, etc. I've got to replace mine because of broken hardware. Some bolts are snapped of IN the t-nuts. Just wondering if anybody else has experience with using hockey pucks.

Gooseneck hitch, Flowmaster (single inlet/dual out), 60 gal tank/toolbox/bedrails/headache rack (custom built, welded together as 1 unit), 3 gauge pillar pod w/glowshift gauges, oil, water temp, trans temp
Never ask "What else can go wrong?" cause something will.
Ah the poor mans lift. I've seen it on lifted trucks as well, but have heard that its not a very good idea. From what I understand is that the pucks can crack in half and completely fall out. The stock isolator bushings are a much better and safer way to go.
My 2 cents.

1988 F250 7.3 IDI, C6 auto, 4x4. Bought it with new heads and rebuilt injection pump. Since then new parts include ball joints, brakes and brake components at all wheels including parking brake cables, fuel sending unit, injector return kit, belts, starter, batteries, and alternator. Sno-way 9'1'' v blade. Ready to make some money!
That's my thoughts as well. I wish Moog or somebody similar would make an OE bushing set. So far all I have found is LMC ($120 just for bushings & hardware under radiator support)or Ford (which is double LMC's price).

Its a polyurethane set so you are in luck there. I will replace mine with these after this winter.

Napa sold me a set of poly-urethane cab mounts for my '80. Can't remember the name though (I do know it wasn't an "Energy" product). They were a nice addition to my body lift, as they took away a lot of the body sway.

Yep used a stack of three back in the late '80s for body lift. Sold the truck years later and none were cracked or broken. The ones I used were hard rubber IIRC. That was on a Nissan 4x4, never tried it on a Ford.
