How do I remove the power steering pump pulley?

I have a 93 that needs a new power steering pump. I have removed the entire bracket that the pump is mounted in, how do I remove the pulley so I can change the pump?

Thanks.

Thats a tuff one to pull off without the special puller. Most auto parts stores will rent you one as stated above. I went and bought mine for about $60.00. Works great too....

A hydraulic press would probably do it also.

Normally if you use the proper tool you are not require to remove the accessory bracket. A hydraulc press used during removal would be cumbersome and may cause damage, it would also not be of any use when reinstalling as the pulley has to be pulled on to the shaft. There are several inexpensive Ford etc power steering and alternator pulley removers out there.

I called around and ended up taking mine to the local cheveron where they have mechanic on duty. $15.00 bucks and It was swapped out. So you might call around and see what you can find.
