How are they for a company for getting a pump from.My sons good friend has a reman db2-5028 pump with 5000 miles on it.They no longer have the truck.Gave pump to my son for my truck.
Your Son just got a good Birthday present. If your asking whether International is a rebuilder, not that I've ever known. It take a $80,000 Calibration machine to rebuild an IP, doubt very much a Navistar dealer would have one.
Oregon Fuel Injection.
7.3 L Diesel 5 speed Manual Trans Pickup and Van Rebuilt Fuel Injection Pump, fits 1992.5, 1993, 1994, (serpentine belt, naturally aspirated) OEM F2TZ9A543C 1816523C91 + $500.00 core DB2-5028 $697.50
This IP would go on any Ford IDI or turbo from 83 to 94. If installing it on a turbo, just turn up the fuel screw 2 flats on a 5/32" hex wrench.
Oregon is one of the few reliable rebuilders, Conestogadiesel is closest to you in Pennsylvania. Dieselogic is another one.
Most Ebay sellers are just junk. Pensacola is the worst.
I'm in Ohio, but never heard of them. Most rebuilders do put a tag or change the origional tag stating who the reuilder is. I'll google them and see who they are and if there still in business.
The price is right, worst case it doesn't work, then you have one for a core before you pull a bad one. Maybe limp along till you get one.
