How much SCA - napa kool - to start with? - Diesel Forum

I am going to flush the radiator of the '93 - after I have a good 50/50 mix, how much SCA - using napa kool- should I start with?

Or do I run the flush, re fill and test - retest till i get the right level?

Dump one full bottle in RAD (not reservouir) run for a couple days then test (gives it time to thin out in the system) then you will probably be adding another bottle but we must not over treat so testing is a good thing if your still on the bottle regiment.

Initial fills should get 4 oz of NapaCool per gallon of cooling system capacity.
