Turn the key to the run position, push a small punch/screwdriver in the hole under the tumbler in the steering column. Pull the tumbler out. Then push some grease in to the tumbler from the key end. The tumbler itself does not acually come apart.

The hole is just above the hazard switch, below the tumbler. Once you get it out, you'll see how it rotates inside of itself. I pushed grease in behind the chrome ears between the inner and out parts of the tumbler. You'll see how the detent works, just lube it enough so it'll roll back past it. I've used vaseline on one truck, dielectic grease in another. PM me, I'll send you an exploded view of the column. Let me know wether or not you have tilt.

I fixed my NO ACC problem by adjusting the ignition switch position on the steering column. The ignition switch is mounted to the column under the instrument panel and connected to the key cylinder with a rod that runs down the top of the column. Ignition switch needed to be moved slightly closer to the key cylinder.
