Injectors starting to go?

What are some good signs that my injectors (and or ip) are starting to go?
Truck is getting a little harder to start again but all aspects of starting system are new. gp's, starter, all cables and terminals, batteries. Spins plenty fast.
It likes to choke a little when its fired up and doesn't like to fire instantly like she used to.
was wonderin if maybe injection related was not vaporizing the fuel or something

It's getting colder, which may give you your symptoms.

Not to highjack your thread, but i have the same issue. New glow plugs.. new pump.. new injectors.. correct timing. When the outside temp is 60F or above it fires right up with a nice high idle.. when below that temp it chokes out some black smoke and runs rough for a few seconds until it blows out all the fuel. Plugged into the block heater at any temp perfect. I start thinking about compression.

Yeah i expected that... but last winter i had the same starting system (cept old gp's) and it started like a hot summer day. (tx to the gear reduction starter) It didn't used to choke around at all. Thats why i was figuring maybe i have a injector here or there that is going out... then once it warms up it works fine...
