I'm trying to make a choice on which way to go, my 7.3 turbo engine is dead, I don't mine building my own engine but my warrenty sucks, and it will cost all most as much to build one as a Jasper long block cost.
Has anyone had a bad Jasper? Do they stand behind them? What about Diesel City? Rebuilt diesel engines .com? The place in Texas everyone talks about that I can't find that build engines??????
I want a warrenty, I know Jasper will be around for a while, $4,200 for a long block.
Who out there has the best, cheapest price, longest warrenty, last forever motor? (I don't think any of these terms go together but I can wish)

I just found me a donor truck at lunch, 7.3 non turbo, 145,000, had been sitting for four weeks, turned over five times and started, 28 degrees here today, no blowby, new ring gear and pin, new cultch, new batteries, has a service bed (nice), only good things on the front is one fender and one door, chrome wheel covers, five speed trany just like mine. $1,500 for the whole deal.
I may be able to keep mine running for a while with all these spare parts.
I may sell my factory turbo set up if anybody wants one, I'm gonna leave this one stock and see how long it will last.
