looking to buy 90' F-350

I'm looking to buy an 1990 F-350 4x4 lariet reg cab with right at 200,000 miles on it. Its a 5 speed and apears to well taken care of. What kind of mileage do you guys get with these IDI's, I was wondering becuase I'm gonna work out of this truck. Does a turbo and inner cooler increase mileage on these and what brand is the best /easiest to install Banks, ATS, Hypermax? Thanks for any in put. O buy the way I'm looking to pay around $3,800.00 for the truck, is that about average for this year model?

Not bashing the old IDIs (I used to have one) but if you are planning on throwing a turbo and intercooler on there, I think for the same money you could have a decent OBS powerstroke.

What kind of mileage as in fuel economy? I've seen 20mpg average on a Detroit-Chicago-Detroit trip, then I've also seen 8mpg with the big trailer behind me flying like a bat outta hell bouncing off the revv limiter in 3rd gear... All depends on how much you load it and how you drive it. As for how long you can run them - depends on maintenance, mine just rolled over 200k a few months ago (well, supposedly tis 100k, but I don't believe that), and she still hauls good, some people put well over 400k on their trucks.
