I currently have a 93 RWD 7.3 IDI and am looking to swap out its automatic transmission for a 5 or 6 speed. My question is what thing am I going to need to replace as well? I am going also going to need to replace the injector pump as well. Sometime in the future, I am also going to be adding a turbo (as it currently does not have one). Is there any particular order that these should be done in? I am rather new to diesel so I am not quite sure how everything works together. Any help is appreciated. THANKS!

Swapping to a manual there are things needing to know.

Is it a f350 DRW ?

Is it a f250, it would be a SRW?

What chassis is it ? Single cab, Extended cab, Crew cab ?

What is the rear differential ratio, different yoke sizes.

ZF manuals need to fit a diesel, not a gasser.

Fly wheel and clutch for a diesel.

Drive shaft, single or split with center support?

Adding a turbo can be done at anytime.

Changing the IP can be done at anytime. There are no new IP's on the market, only rebuilt ones. Be very careful on who you get one from, before you buy, list on here who it would be. Better to have yours rebuilt from a trusted local hydraulic shop. A $250 IP is not rebuilt, a $500+ to $800+ is rebuilt with a good warranty.

Your location is not listed, can't recommend an IP rebuilder.
