mechanical fuel pump

Can someone give me the part number and price and best brand to go with for a new mechanical fuel pump for my 93 f250 7.3 idi non Turbo

IMHO they are all about the same. I haven't had any one brand fail more than another. IIRC Mine is a "cardone" but I don't have the box and I bought it from my local A/P store that I have an account with.
Here is the AIRTEX P/N 60278..Should be about $30.00 @ O'reilly's

Alright cool thank you. I hope that will fix my drain back problem. How hard are they to change? Should it take very long?

Easy as far as I am concerned. Just make sure the arm goes UNDER the cam. Best to rotate the engine by hand, and look in the hole, you may need a mirror. Your looking for the LOW point to face DOWN when you put the new pump in.

It should be. Just keep in mind fuel pump arm UNDER cam.
