New Glow plug control problems

hey all,

I just installed a new controller cause the old one turned out to be shot.

When I hooked it all up and turned the key the start engine came on for less than a second and the controller started cycling pretty quick right off the mark. I was pretty sure it wasn't working but tried turning the engine over anyways, I was right, won't start.

Any ideas? I'm guessing that I should check the plugs first.

Re: New Glow plug control problems

If two or more plugs are bad or the connections it will "cylce" more so. I threw the towel in and went to the manual bypass. So much better. One big one is in cooler weather when you need to turn the key on but not start it for windows, trailer blinker wiring, etc. the glow plugs are not cycling. I am glad I did it.
