new injectors and return lines and still blowing white smoke and missing pelase help me!

hey guys i am working on a 1990 f-350 7.3. It smoked white smoke (smelled like fuel big time) and the white smoke was very bad. It also would start to miss when you started to get up to 1200 rpm and more.. Well i heard it could be a injector problem so i changed the injectors and put new return line kit on it btu still same thing. Please help me. I am getting ready to smash this motor and getting very discurraged with it quickly.

4 speed tranny, transfercase installed, new injectors, advanced timing like it should be, new voltage regualtor, has meyers plow, new clutch master cylinder, I have wiring problems with it right now on the interior guages

no i have not checked the timing. i dont even know how to do timing with the light. only by listening to it. i cannot get the fastidle to work and well inside the cab if i turn anythign to use power on the truck the guages go all funky and the tach dont work liek it chould. also the fastidle dont work i noticed that. Please let me know if you guys sugest i advance the timign some and se what happens.

ok guys i looked at the injection pump and well noticed there is only timing marks at the 12oclock position thats all on the pump. the pump looks to be exactly strait up and down not tilted at all to anyside.

do you guys think this motor is blown up or anything? i mean i never saw anythign liek this before and the truck seems to idle nice and smooth. but alwyas a hase off white smoke and whenever you rev it you cant see that side of the truck cause all the white smoke. and it smells jsut like diesel. there is no water entering cylinders. also i notice before when i first got the truck the oil level was about 1/4 inch above full. now it is 1/2 between add and full. the oilpressure is in the "AL" in "NORMAL" so the oil pressure is good. Any sugestions?

You have excess fuel washing down the cylinders.

its ok but i got it all figured out and runnign and ell now it runs great. What happened was timign was to retarded and i had to advance it. I was reading if its retarded it will smoke white (no one said it would cause it to miss at higher rpm but it must do that also) i advanced it some and well no smoke and also the truck is nice crisp rev. I am so happy!

about a nickel width about. the lines were lined up and well i moved it about nickle width and lala good to go..

Because the injection event is controlled by the IP pressure and injector spring pressure, the timing marks only apply to the original injection pump, and only when new. Timing will change as the IP and injectors wear, and any replacement pump must be re-timed.
