i fired up the truck and turned on the headlights, both sides went out at the same time ,,but i have my brights still.
any help???
could it be the # 19 maxi fuse

ok , but how do you check it ? i check the fuses they were all ok [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img]hopefully it`s a switch asy that i already ordered from the ford dealer,,,, [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/phoney.gif[/img]
And what year truck do you have........we need info to assess the problem correctly.........

93 F250 7.3 IDI S/C XLT 4X4 E40D 3.55LS, Captains chairs, Tutone Mocha, Leer 48" Hiboy cap, FR & RR hitches, full DeeZee running boards. Factory ordered/delivered Jan 93 has 160K+, it's basically a stock truck with all the Ford options, just no disc player.
Toys: 26'Jayco FK TT, 18'Sylvan Pro Fish.
this is a 93 f 250 3/4 4x4 with a 7.3 non turbo i do have hi beams still just no low beams and they blew (went out )at the same time

Try this site http://www.ford-trucks.com/articles/...er_lights.html Headlight Relay Mod. The high beam switch is probably the culprit, but check the headlight switch itself. A VERY common problem for these trucks. OkieG
