oil bypass filter plumbing

Hey guys I just picked up an LF777 filter and base for free, so I'm gonna install it here shortly. I haven't had time to look for a mounting location or plumbing.

Anybody have any suggestions of where to tee in for oil supply and return? I may tee in from the top of the turbo where the oil pressure sensor is. How do you guys have yours setup? Thanks.

There are two supply ports on the drivers side. Both on the same plane as the crankshaft. One in front of the oil filter, and one behind, right by the bell housing. For a return, I use an SHA drain hose assembly from oil change solutions. Connects right to the bottom of the pan.

I'm in the middle of installing an Amsoil bypass filter on mine right now.
The little plug behind the filter is where I'm tapping in, however, that little pipe plug is good and stuck so I'm waiting on Snap On to deliver a special 9/32 square pipe plug socket #PP409A on Tuesday to get that thing off clean( naturally it wouldn't just spin off like the one on my spare block )

The return is a little easier for me, I had the engine out recently rebuilding it, so I welded a -4AN male fitting to the side of the oil pan in anticipation.
For anyone else though, a great place to return would be the inspection plate that covers the 3 injection pump mounting bolts ( or oil filler neck if yours bolts on there ), take that off and either drill and tap it for a pipe fiting if there is enough back clearance, or weld a fitting to it

I mounted the filter housing horizontally to the frame rail, outboard on the driver's side about a foot + aft of the cab mount.

I used Aeroquip steel braid hose but clearance is still a little close in there so it's inside some firesleeve where it gets near the exhaust

I do have a couple of lengths
