oil cooler

does anyone know where to get an oem oil cooler? i tried ford and international and they both discontinued it

Ya gotta put your truck or van in your sig. All 6.9 and 7.3 oil coolers are not the same per se, the truck is different from the van.

you can pull one from any 7.3 f-series.

are you sure you need a new one? there's a seal replacement procedure.

yea i need a new one mine rotten out in the middle and its makin a mess. i dont really want to put a used in id rather buy new but i cant find them

What part do you need (end caps or center part). You should be able to get a center from navistar, but the end caps would have to come from a wreck/ebay/Craigslist. If you are near Seattle I have a good center and front end cap, and access to a whole unit from an 87 6.9 that is being scrapped.

i d the center part the trucks primary use is snow removal i tried my local international dealer they claim they cant get it

It is not unheard of for the tube portion to corrode out, but more likely is for it to be clogged. Regardless, you should be able to pull the center tube from any 7.3 cooler, E- or F-series. E-series may be easier to pull (!)
