Maybe its just me.... but I cannot get rid of these oil leaks. Valve covers leaked, so i replaced em with gaskets and gasket sealer. Well looks like it is still leaking...
Is there something I should be doin to get this done correctly? I thought I did it right...(not sure how you can screw up a gasket)
But I've got a nice oily oil pan still, along with n oily starter, oil filter, exhaust Y-pipe and trans bellhousing.
I just gotta get rid of these leaks!!
Thanks for the input!

I like the harder Felpro gaskets....I tried the $40 silicone ones once ..what a joke. Retorque them after about a week is what I do and it has worked for me. You may even try doing it again after a month.......vibration of the diesel does some wierd things.

I'd also check the oil pressure sender switch. Mine leaked at the nipple, the switch was still good but it ran down the back of the engine like valve cover leaks will.

Oil pressure sender is at the back of the block behind the GP controller...... Check my gallery there is a serial number pic it has the controller #5 just behind and below it. WARNING there are LIVE wires with full battery X2 power on the controller.
